Gaby Castellanos (born in October 1970 in Caracas, Venezuela) is a Spanish creative director, interactive consultant and social media personality. She is the founder of Netthink Carat (Aegis Group), and considered one of the most important creative directors of the Spanish market. Additionally, Castellanos is the creator of new advertising and new media formats, is SrBurns’s CEO and President of the Spanish Interactive Club and Spanish Social Media Club.


Castellanos was born in October 1970 in Caracas, Venezuela.[1] She started her advertisement career at sixteen years of age under the tutelage of Bobby Coimbra,[2] the World Creative President of WPP Group. After receiving many awards, at only 23 years old, Castellanos became the youngest and first woman to be an associated creative director in Latin America. Since 1996 Castellanos has made her home in Spain, dedicated to interactive advertisement and aims to be the first executive creative director[3] in Spain’s advertising market. She has worked at JWT, McCann Erickson, Lintas, Nettink Carat (Aegis Group), Wysiwyg (a Razorfish Company), The Zoo Animalvertising, Btob Interactive, among others.


As of 2009, Castellanos is President of two important clubs in Spain, the Interactive Club[4] and the Social Media Club[5] in Spanish section, and also she is the CEO of SrBurns Crossmedia Production.[6]


Gaby Castellanos is an important Advertising Personality in Spain and Latin America she figured in the Top 25 of Power People [7] in Latin America Advertising and she was named by Ganar Magazine,[8] one of the “Top 10 Most Important Internet Personality” in Spain during 2000, 2001, and 2002. She also, appeared several times in different newspaper and magazines such as El País,[9]El Mundo, El Universal,Telecinco Tv,[10] Clarín, Adlatina Magazine,[11] Interactiva Magazine,[12] Anuncios Magazine, IPMark Magazine,[13] Europapress,[14] Estrategias Magazine,[15] Producto Magazine, and others.
